Job summary

Solent University is seeking an Admissions & Enrolment Officer to join the busy Admissions & Enrolment Team. The role supports students from initial enquiry through to enrolment and involves processing applications and handling enquiries via phone, email, chat and in person.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organised and customer-focused, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Job description

The Admissions & Enrolment Officer will work as part of a Team who are responsible for administering a student’s journey from initial applicant enquiry stage, through to application and finally enrolment. They will be responsible for processing applications, answering telephone, email and in-person enquiries. They will need to be a highly motivated individual, with a high standard of customer service skills and a great team player. This is a full-time permanent role.

We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and customer-focused Admissions & Enrolment Officer to join our busy Admissions & Enrolment Team.

As an Admissions & Enrolment Officer, you will play a key role in supporting students throughout their journey with the University — from their initial enquiry, through the application process and ultimately to enrolment.

You will be responsible for processing applications, providing accurate and timely information, and responding to enquiries by telephone, email, online chat and in person. You will work closely with colleagues across the University and with external partners to ensure students receive a welcoming, professional and efficient service.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail and customer service skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
