Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a proactive Administrator to support Oakfield Court, Urmston, Manchester. The role involves diary management, invoicing, rostering, and general admin to ensure smooth operational support for the Estate Manager.

The position offers an hourly rate of £12.85 with a 10-hour weekly commitment on a permanent basis, Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will have strong Microsoft Office skills and experience in a care or residential setting.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, with a strong understanding of office management procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with accounting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in a care or residential setting.
  • Knowledge of invoicing and financial procedures.
  • Experience with rostering and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

  • Invoicing & Financial Administration: Prepare, issue, and track invoices using accounting software; manage petty cash and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Rostering & Scheduling: Oversee staff rotas, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with staffing requirements.
  • Communication & Correspondence: Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, phone calls, and postal mail.
  • Document Management: Maintain and organize physical and digital files, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • General Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, managing office equipment, and supporting team projects.

Job description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to support our vibrant Oakfield Court community in Urmston, Manchester. This role is central to delivering exceptional service and seamless support alongside our Registered Estate Manager.

Hourly Rate: £12.85 per hour
