Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Care Dorset Ltd is hiring for a part-time office assistant to support a busy team with typing, reception, and general office duties in the UK. The role involves confidential systems work and data management, with opportunities to improve processes and data quality.
The position is 32 hours per week on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for permanency. We welcome applicants within sensible commuting distance and emphasize visa sponsorship is not available.
In this role, you’ll be handling a range of tasks—from typing up letters, reports to helping out at reception, answering calls, and making sure people get directed to the right place. You’ll also be the go-to person for taking messages and offering helpful guidance when needed.
You’ll be working with confidential systems and databases, keeping everything accurate and up to date. Alongside that, you’ll help with general office duties like filing, photocopying, managing post, and keeping supplies stocked. There’s also a chance to get involved in improving how we do things, making sure we stay on top of changes and keep our data in good shape.
