Band 2 Administrative Assistant for Service
37.5 hours Monday - Friday
Based at Alderney Hospital
We are a busy community service consisting of speech and language therapists and assistants. The admin team is essential to the smooth running of the service.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, proactive, and efficient administrator and telephone receptionist for the Adult Community SALT team. You need to have demonstrable experience working in an office environment, with well-developed IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Teams.
You will work within our admin team, which includes two other administrators. Responsibilities include answering phones, being the first contact for the service, adding referrals to the electronic clinical system (System One), and supporting the team with general administrative duties.
A clear and compassionate telephone manner is essential, especially as we work with individuals who may have communication impairments. Full training will be provided.
Previous NHS experience and familiarity with System One are advantageous.
There is potential for some home working if preferred, alongside office-based work at Alderney Hospital.
