NHS Ayrshire & Arran is inviting applications for an Administration & Clerical Officer (Modern Apprenticeship) based in the Pharmacy team at University Hospital Crosshouse, Kilmarnock. The role is 26 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fixed-term for 1 year.
You will support the Acute Pharmacy Team with confidential correspondence, diary management and related duties. The post requires administrative experience, keyboard skills and proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Based in the Pharmacy Department, University Hospital Crosshouse, Lister Street, Kilmarnock, we are seeking an individual to provide effective and efficient administrative and clerical support to the Acute Pharmacy Team. You will deal with and prepare confidential correspondence, briefings and reports, as well as being responsible for day-to-day diary management. As a Modern Apprentice you will be supported to carry out all of the tasks and duties.
The preferred candidate will have administrative experience, keyboard skills, and the ability to work using initiative and on occasion unsupervised.
Evidence or ability to demonstrate as a minimum, proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications to include as a minimum, Word, Excel and Outlook or equivalent is essential.
