Job summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a Domestic Assistant based at Beith Health Centre. The post is permanent with 9.87 hours per week, working Monday to Thursday evenings and Friday evenings. You will perform housekeeping and cleaning duties to a high standard, with full training provided.

Experience with cleaning equipment or healthcare settings is helpful, but not essential. A team player with good communication and a physical fitness suitable for healthcare environments is required.

Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant based at Beith Health Centre. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

Hours

9.87 hours per week (Worked Monday - Thursday 5.30pm - 7.30pm and Friday 5.30pm - 7.22pm).

What You Will Do

Working within the Domestic Services Department you will undertake a variety of housekeeping/cleaning duties which are carried out to a high standard. Full training will be provided.

Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post

Experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working within a healthcare setting, would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given. The ability to work on both your own initiative and as part of a team and good communication skills are essential.

You should be physically fit, understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment.

Priorities can change due to staffing and activity in the North Sector premises, and a degree of flexibility is required.
