Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking an Administration Assistant located in Maldon. The role involves general administration tasks, using clinical systems, and managing patient records. Administration Assistant

Working as a part of Psychological Services for the Multi Professional Approved Clinicians Team. The duties will be general administration to include utilising outlook email system and regularly updating of spreadsheets so the need to use Excel would be required, arranging meetings internal along with external, producing letters and updating documents accordingly. Producing order of equipment, uniform, books via our accounts system and placing the orders accordingly.

Creating a Team Intranet page to be updated on a regular basis. To support the team where necessary with general administration tasks and adhoc duties where necessary.

Updating patient records utilising our clinical systems where full training will be given.

Main duties of the job
  • Responsible for ensuring all correspondence is presented accurately and appropriately using Trust and departmental procedures and medical terminology used by the clinical staff.
  • To be skilled and experienced in the full range of Administrative work practices, software programmes and specialised functional terms. Additional training will be provided
  • To be proficient with the knowledge of Patient Records management supporting new users and instructing them as necessary. To use the knowledge and experience to meet the needs of the clinical teams by completing non-routine tasks on a daily basis.
  • To update skills as necessary and attend mandatory training and maintain records as per Trust policy.
