Job summary

ESNEFT is seeking a motivated administrator to provide a consistent administration service across the team. You will assist with referrals, bookings, patient contact by telephone, and reception duties at different clinic sites, handling letters and records efficiently.

You will use Community and acute hospital systems and adapt to new systems as they are introduced, delivering a smooth, proactive service to staff and patients. This fixed-term role is part-time (30 hours/week) with pro rata pay.

Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service within a clinical or hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with NHS patient data and confidentiality practices.
  • Knowledge of NHS administration systems and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide admin support to clinical teams and services.
  • Reception cover at multiple clinical sites on a rota basis.
  • Check data in community/hospital systems and amend as needed.
  • Undertake routine admin tasks independently and support colleagues.
  • Deliver timely admin support and escalate urgent matters when required.

Job overview

We are looking for a motivated administrator to provide a consistent provision of administration support to the team.

You should be able to deliver a high standard of an administrative tasks on a daily basis. Tasks will include accepting patient referrals/booking clinic appointments/Patient contact via telephone/reception duties at various clinic locations/generating clinic letters.

You will utilise the required technology in NEECS Community and Acute hospital systems / new technology or system (s) that are introduced and support other team members to do so to deliver an efficient administrative service

Main duties of the job

Supporting the clinical teams by providing the relevant admin support.

Reception cover at various clinical sites on an Ad-Hoc basis.

Check all data on Community and hospital systems and amend where appropriate.

Undertake routine tasks on own initiative and support other team members to undertake the full range of administrative activities.

Provide a range of routine administrative support relevant to area, ensuring that urgent matters are actioned and escalated without delay.
