Job Details

We are seeking a temporary admin officer for our public sector client, initially until June 2025, with potential for extension based on business needs. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, typically from 9 am to 5 pm. The pay rate starts at £12.36 for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £12.53 thereafter, paid weekly.

Location

This role is fully office-based, located in ST1 3BP.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing papers and files for court
  • Creating and updating records on the in-house computer system and data input
  • Post opening and dispatch
  • Ensuring compliance and quality standards in administration documentation
  • Clerking courts, tribunals, and hearings, including face-to-face customer contact
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 12-18 months of administrative experience and excellent customer service skills, as clerking involves direct customer interaction. Full training will be provided.
