Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Mental Health Practitioner to join the ADHD Service pathway for children and young people. The role focuses on needs-led assessments within a holistic, multi-disciplinary setting and supports families with queries across CAMHS and adult services.

You will conduct initial assessments, assist in referral screening and triage, participate in duty rotas, and provide follow-up appointments for medication management in line with NICE

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and young people ADHD services within mental health.
• Ability to maintain good clinical records and data collection.
• Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Undertake needs-led, evidence-based assessments within the ADHD pathway.
• Complete initial assessments and referral screening; participate in duty rota.
• Provide follow-up appointments for young people on medication.
• Coordinate with CAMHS, adult services and partners for integrated care.
• Monitor, research and evaluate the ADHD pathway.
