Job summary

Heart of Supply is seeking caring Teaching Assistants to support partner primary schools across Lincoln and surrounding areas. You’ll provide 1:1 support, small-group help, and classroom assistance to children, including those with additional needs.

We offer flexible temporary roles from day-to-day to longer placements, with competitive PAYE pay. A Level 2/3 TA qualification is helpful but not essential if you have relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or education setting.
• Clear, professional communication and a proactive, reliable attitude.
• Minimum of 6 weeks’ UK experience in a similar setting.
• Ability to follow a teacher's lead while using initiative to support individuals and small groups.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils.
• Support small groups and classroom activities.
• Assist with pupil inclusion and safeguarding practices.
• Adapt to different classrooms and year groups.
