Job summary

Teach Now is seeking experienced Supply Teaching Assistants for daily and short-term assignments across primary schools in Hertfordshire.

The roles involve general classroom support, small-group work, and 1:1 help for pupils, including those with SEN, with flexible days to fit around your schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous school, nursery or child-support experience.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• A patient, dependable and proactive approach.
• SEN experience is particularly welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Work with individuals and small groups.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and resources.
• Encourage positive behaviour and pupil engagement.
• Provide additional support to pupils who may be struggling academically or socially.
