Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an all-age SEND school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant starting in September.

You will support pupils with SEND across different age groups, collaborating with teachers to promote engagement, independence and positive learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Experience working with pupils with a range of additional needs.
• A positive, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• A willingness to get stuck in and adapt to the needs of the school.
