Job summary

Aon invites graduates to join its Actuarial Consulting Pensions Graduate Programme 2027 across UK locations. You will learn through the Launch Programme, gaining hands-on actuarial experience while progressing toward IFoA qualifications.

From day one you will work with pension trustees and sponsor companies, building models, analyzing data, and communicating complex insights to clients. This role blends technical work with consulting skills.

Qualifications

• On-track to achieve a 2:1 degree in Maths, actuarial science or other numerically rigorous field.
• A-level Maths with A grade or international equivalent.
• Practical skills in Python, SQL, VBA or cloud platforms (optional).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in actuarial consulting and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Build and run models for pricing, reserving and pension scheme analysis; review AI baselines and validate outputs.
• Support funding and accounting valuations, projections and data reconciliation.
• Conduct data and risk analyses to explain patterns and client priorities.
• Identify ways to manage or reduce pension scheme risks, including longevity and inflation risks.
• Assist with profitability and reinsurance analysis and interpretation of trends.
