Values such as honesty and commitment guide our journey with residents and staff. These values foster a positive, healthy environment, new friendships, and a true sense of well-being among our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Organize leisure programs, get to know and listen to residents individually, helping to create a close-knit community where people know and care for each other.
  • Think creatively to keep activities engaging, reach out to encourage participation, and develop backup plans for events like entertainer cancellations. Lead activities in our art studio, woodworking and stained glass workshops, fitness facilities, putting green, and other leisure venues.
  • Publish an informative and professional monthly newsletter and leisure calendar on time. Drive the 24-passenger bus for outings twice weekly.
  • Maintain a sense of humor, high energy, patience, and a caring attitude. Be organized and professional in conduct and appearance.
  • Possess professional event planning experience (minimum two years) with local connections.
  • Experience working with seniors and basic audio-visual setup skills.
  • Hold a clean Class 2 or 4 driver’s license with a fundamental understanding of vehicle operation.
  • Organize and recruit volunteers (resident and non-resident) with at least two years of experience.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher); candidates will be tested.
  • Artistic talents are a plus.

The typical work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with two early evenings per week, varying with event schedules. A criminal record check for vulnerable sectors is required.

If you value your positive energy and want to contribute to residents' well-being through service excellence, we invite you to share your resume and join our team.
