Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited at Poppymill Brook, Brockworth, a new care home opening January 2027, is seeking an Activities Manager. You will work with an Activities Assistant to design meaningful activities tailored to residents' life histories, hobbies and interests.

You will encourage group and individual involvement seven days a week, while expanding community links and ensuring activities fit residents' needs and abilities in collaboration with the home team and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents to identify meaningful activities by learning their life histories, hobbies and interests.
• Encourage residents to participate in group and individual activities in the home and in the wider community, 7 days a week.
• Collaborate with the Activities Assistant and staff team and welcome external organisations to increase community links.

As a Activities Manager you will work with a Activities Assistant to engage with residents to see what types of meaningful activities they would like to do, through learning about their life history, hobbies and interests. Encourage residents to take part in group and individual activities in the home and in the wider community, with the staff team, 7 days a week, ensure all activities planned, are tailored to the needs and abilities of the residents. Welcome and increase community links with organisations outside the home to work alongside us.

Hours of work: (10:00-17:0 0) and you will be expected to work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on, followed by three consecutive shifts off, which equates to an average of 24.50 hours per week in total.
Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.79
