Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is seeking an Activities Assistant for Poppymill Brook, Brockworth. The role involves leading resident activities, engaging with the community, and ensuring activities are tailored to individual needs. The home is under construction and set to open January 2027.

The successful candidate will work a rolling rota around 21 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £13.53. Full induction, DBS checks and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable and with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to plan and run activities tailored to residents' needs.
• Willing to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of activities within the care home.
• Engage with external organisations to arrange community activities.
• Book external suppliers for events and entertainment.
• Capture weekly activities for newsletters, notice boards and social media.
