Job summary

Crystal Care Collection Limited is recruiting for an Activities Manager at Parsons Ridge, Braunton, Devon, opening January 2027. You will lead activities with an Assistant, tailoring plans to residents’ life histories and interests, 7 days a week, including community links and in-house and external activities.

You will work on a rolling rota of three shifts on, three off, averaging about 24.5 hours weekly, with an hourly rate of £13.79.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills for resident engagement.
• Experience in care settings or elderly care preferred.
• Ability to work with a team to plan and deliver activities.

As a Activities Manager you will work with a Activities Assistant to engage with residents to see what types of meaningful activities they would like to do, through learning about their life history, hobbies and interests. Encourage residents to take part in group and individual activities in the home and in the wider community, with the staff team, 7 days a week, ensure all activities planned, are tailored to the needs and abilities of the residents. Welcome and increase community links with organisations outside the home to work alongside us.

Hours of work:

(10:00-17:00) and you will be expected to work on a permanent rolling rota of three consecutive shifts on, followed by three consecutive shifts off, which equates to an average of 24.50 hours per week in total.

Hourly Rate of Pay: £13.79
