Job summary

davidlloyd Brighton is seeking an Activities Manager to lead and manage the operations of Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families departments. You will regularly serve as Duty Manager, ensuring the club runs smoothly while delivering an exceptional member experience.

You will recruit, train and empower your team, driving service excellence and a sense of belonging for staff and members in a premium health and wellness environment in Brighton.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a large operational service delivery facility.
• Proven ability to lead multiple functions and departments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with financial planning and budgeting.
• Passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage activities across Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within the club.
• Regularly act as Duty Manager and ensure efficient operation of the entire club.
• Recruit, train and empower the team to deliver an exceptional member experience.
• Collaborate across departments to meet service goals and standards.
• Oversee financial planning and management for the activities division.

As A ctivities M anger you will lead and manage an efficient operation of all activities that take place in the Fitness, Group Exercise, Racquets, Swim and Families Departments within your DL Club . You will regularly act as Duty Manager, taking responsibility for the efficient operation for the entire club.

About you :

As Activities Manager , we are looking for someone who:

• Has experience managing a large operational service delivery facility (e.g. restaurant, attraction, retail unit, sporting or leisure facility).
• Experience leading a variety of functions with variable challenges and goals, or across variable depts.
• Overall great communication and collaboration skills
• Experience of financial planning and management.
• A passion about customer service.
