Dovehaven Care Homes is recruiting an Activities Co-ordinator at Avonleigh Gardens, Clyde Street, Oldham. The role requires working 5 days a week from 9am to 4.30pm, totaling 35 hours, with alternate weekend availability. Avonleigh Gardens caters to up to 59 residents, promoting independence, dignity, and respect through positive risk-taking and empowerment.
We seek a caring, enthusiastic, and organized Activities Coordinator to design and organize social and recreational activities both in and outside the home. You will consult with residents to identify their interests, generate enthusiasm, and support activity delivery. You will also plan and implement activities to support residents' physical and mental wellbeing. Experience in similar settings, especially with diverse needs, is preferred. You will work as part of a team committed to enhancing residents' lives.
