Dovehaven Care Homes is recruiting for an Activities Coordinator to join our team at Marsh House, Ulnes Walton Lane, Leyland. Working four days a week, 6 hours a day, with every other weekend involved, 24-hour contracts are available.

Marsh House is a residential care home catering for up to 33 residents. The home specialises in dementia care, and our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity, and respect through positive risk-taking and empowerment.
As an Activities Coordinator, you will create ideas, organise social and recreational events both in and outside of the home, and consult with residents to identify their social and recreational interests, generate enthusiasm, and support the delivery of these activities.
You will also plan and implement a wide range of activities to support the physical and mental wellbeing of residents. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar setting, preferably with groups of people with diverse needs and tastes. Working as part of a wider team, you will be committed to enhancing the lives of elderly people and focused on making residents’ lives fulfilling.
