Job summary

Diversity Jobsite is seeking a Project Manager for Active Journeys Scotland in Glasgow. You will lead engagement and behaviour change work for infrastructure and built environment projects, coordinating budgets and stakeholder collaboration.

The role emphasises community-focused delivery, multi-stakeholder engagement, and ensuring safety for vulnerable groups. Travel across Strathclyde region is required.

Qualifications

• Understanding of active travel and related inequalities.
• Linking engagement to urban design concepts.
• Built environment’s impact on health and equity.
• Experience in community engagement and behaviour change.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder design/infrastructure projects.
• Ability to safeguard children, young people and adults at risk.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver workshops and events with the local community.
• Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and decision makers.
• Manage project budgets as delegated by line manager.
• Provide specialist engagement/behaviour change guidance for infrastructure projects.
• Review proposals with design and engineering colleagues.
