Job summary

Walk Wheel Cycle Trust is seeking a proactive Project Manager to deliver behaviour change, design, infrastructure and engagement projects in Scotland. You’ll manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders and ensure safety and wellbeing considerations are integrated across programmes.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll lead multiple projects with diverse requirements, build relationships with local decision makers, and support the delivery of walk, wheel and cycle initiatives that benefit

Qualifications

• Understanding of active travel and issues facing communities that experience inequalities.
• Understanding of and experience in behaviour change concepts.
• Experience of health and safety management including risk assessment procedures.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects focused on design and infrastructure.
• The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead low-risk behaviour change, engagement, design, and infrastructure projects and campaigns.
• Manage project budgets, as delegated by line manager.
• Provide specialist behaviour change and engagement advice, guidance, and plan reviews.
• Build and maintain impactful relationships with key local stakeholders and decision makers.
