Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Ledbury is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 9-month contract. You will deliver letters and parcels, sort items, and work on a rotating schedule including Sundays.

30 hours per week with 13.68 per hour, overtime available, 8:36–15:37 across five days in seven, full training provided. The role is outdoors, requires a full manual UK driving licence, and involves physical activity such as walking long distances.

Qualifications

• Must have a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive Royal Mail vans daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, lift 10kg+ mailbags.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors in all weathers.
