Royal Mail in Stone is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a 9-month fixed-term contract. You will sort letters and parcels, deliver by van and on foot in your local area, and build relationships with customers while working outdoors.

This rotating shift includes weekends, with 30 hours per week across 5 days in 7 and starts around 07:45; Sundays may be at Stafford Delivery Office with a 10:00-16:30 window. Full training, a uniform and a red Royal Mail van are provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
