Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Taunton is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract for 9 months. You will deliver letters and parcels on a rotating shift, working 35 hours a week across Monday to Sunday, with weekend work and overtime opportunities.

You'll receive training, a uniform, and a red Royal Mail van, and you will sort mail and deliver to customers while building relationships in the community and working outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (minimum 6 points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances
• Reliable and self‑motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently

Responsibilities
