Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in London to deliver letters and parcels on a 30-hour workweek, with a rotating schedule, including Sundays. You’ll work from Wimbledon Delivery Office, driving a Royal Mail van and walking routes while building relationships with customers.

The role requires outdoors work, independent handling, full UK manual driving licence, and willingness to pass a driving assessment. Training and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
