Job summary

Royal Mail in Slough is looking for a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) for a permanent, full-time role. You will sort letters, deliver by van or on foot in the local area, and build relationships with customers, working outdoors in all weathers.

Role includes full training, a uniform, a red Royal Mail van and a shift pattern of 30 hours/week over 5 days, with a 1 in 4 Sunday commitment and over-time opportunities. Primary location: Slough Delivery Office.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK manual driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Physically fit to walk long distances and carry mailbags
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
