Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Kenilworth is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term six-month contract to deliver letters and parcels in the local area. You will work 30 hours per week on a rotating schedule, including weekends, and you’ll be supported by a Royal Mail van and uniform.

You will need a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points), be physically fit to walk long distances, and enjoy working outdoors and independently.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service and working outdoors independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers and work outdoors in all weather.
