Job summary

Royal Mail in Kenilworth is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term contract for 6 months. You will deliver letters and parcels, walking long distances and driving a Royal Mail van, on a rotating shift including weekends.

You'll be active outdoors, build relationships with customers, and enjoy a structured role with overtime available and benefits. Full manual UK driving licence required, 30 hours per week, 08:00–15:00 on some days.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills and lift 10kg+ mailbags
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area
• Build relationships with customers
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
