Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels in your local community. You will drive a Royal Mail van on your round, with parts of the route completed on foot, and you’ll provide reliable, friendly service in all weather.

You must pass a driving assessment at start and be prepared for a flexible schedule. The role includes guaranteed hours during the temporary period and outdoor, active daily work.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points is required.
• Must be physically fit to walk long distances (up to 20,000 steps daily).
• Shifts vary and require flexibility to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels within your community in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail van on your round and walk parts of your route.
• Safely handle and deliver items including election materials and select items following Royal Mail standards.
• Ensure all items reach destinations and customer service is top‑notch.
