Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels within your local area. The role combines driving a delivery van with walking routes, providing a high level of customer service in all weather conditions.

You will be responsible for securely delivering items, including election materials and select items, following Royal Mail standards. Flexibility to shifts is essential, and you will pass a driving assessment at start.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be physically able to walk long distances and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; applicants must be flexible to schedule changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community, ensuring items reach destinations safely and on time.
• Drive a Royal Mail van for parts of your route and walk portions as required.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent Royal Mail in the community.
