Job summary

Royal Mail, via Angard staffing, is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot, serving your local community with pride and reliability.

Roles include varied shifts and walking duties; driving a van is a key requirement, with a driving assessment on start. Competitive hourly rates apply, with wage bands published during application.

Qualifications

• Driving licence required (Full, manual UK licence with no more than 6 points).
• Good physical fitness: able to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and lift up to 16 kg mailbags.
• Flexible shifts; ability to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot while maintaining service standards.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain age-restricted items, per business rules.
