Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers through Angard Recruitment. You will deliver letters and parcels in your local area, combining driving with walking as required. Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points) and fitness to walk up to 20,000 steps daily are essential.

Shifts vary by day, with rates from £13.69 to £16.44 per hour. There may be scope for permanent work in the future.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK licence with up to 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: ability to walk up to 20,000 steps daily and handle mailbag up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: ability to work varying shifts and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels on your route.
• You’ll drive the van and complete parts of the route on foot, ensuring items reach destinations safely and securely.
