Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across the community. You will drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot, staying active and delivering items safely.

The role requires passing a driving assessment on start, and you will work flexible shifts with guaranteed hours during peak periods. This position offers outdoor work and a vital community service.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence is required.
• Excellent physical fitness for long walking and lifting mailbags.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and complete parts of the route on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain goods per standards.
• Pass a driving assessment on start.
