Job summary

Angard Recruitment, on behalf of Royal Mail, is seeking flexible postal delivery drivers to cover routes in the Elgin area. You will deliver letters and parcels from a Royal Mail van, often walking parts of your route to complete deliveries.

You must hold a full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points and be physically fit to walk up to 20,000 steps a day and lift bags.

Shift patterns vary and you will be paid at the stated hourly rates; a driving assessment is required on start.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and lift a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route in all weather.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and walk parts of your route as needed.
• Pass a driving assessment on start.
