Job summary

Angard Recruitment and Royal Mail are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible postal delivery drivers. You will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining van driving with time on foot to complete your route.

The role requires a full, manual UK driving licence (up to 6 points), fitness to walk long distances, and the ability to work across varied shifts. Extensive outdoor day-to-day work and a driving assessment on start are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you need to be a team player and adaptable to short notice changes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your local area while driving a Royal Mail van and occasionally delivering on foot.
• Ensure items reach customers safely and on time, including election materials and select items in line with Royal Mail standards.
• Represent Royal Mail positively in the community and work flexibly across different shifts to meet demand.
