Job summary

Angard Recruitment, on behalf of Royal Mail, is recruiting flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You’ll drive a Royal Mail van, deliver letters and parcels in your local area, and walk parts of your route as required.

A full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points is necessary, plus the ability to lift up to 16 kg and walk up to 20,000 steps daily. Shifts are varied and may include Day, Dawn, Early, Evening, Lates and Nights with pay rates shown in the advert.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to handle and deliver items weighing up to 16 kg and to walk long distances.
• Willingness to work shift patterns on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels by van in your local area.
• Occasionally complete parts of the route on foot, ensuring timely deliveries.
• Provide reliable, courteous service and handle election materials in line with standards.
• Maintain safety and security of all items during transit.
