Job summary

Angard Recruitment supports Royal Mail in recruiting flexible delivery drivers to serve local communities. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels across your delivery area, combining driving with walking to complete routes and provide friendly service in all weathers.

Shifts vary by day and time, with pay rates published per shift. A full manual UK driving licence (max 6 points) and the ability to walk long distances are essential.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and handle a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexible shifts and team‑oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels come rain or shine.
• Drive round your delivery area, with sections completed on foot, providing exceptional service.
• Securely deliver all items on your route, including election materials and certain restricted items.
• Pass a driving assessment when you start.
