Job summary

Angard Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of Royal Mail to join the Delivery Office as a Post Person with Driving. You will deliver letters and parcels, occasionally on foot, in your local community.

The role requires a full UK manual driving licence, physical fitness for long walks and bags, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Training and continuous support are provided, with a focus on reliable, friendly service.

Qualifications

• Full, UK driving licence (manual) with no more than 6 points.
• Physical fitness to walk up to 20,000 steps per day and carry a mailbag up to 16 kg.
• Flexibility to adapt shifts at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels across your route, with portions on foot.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and handle election materials and restricted items as required.
• Provide friendly, reliable service to customers in your community.
