Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers to join Angard Recruitment in Greater London. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels to communities, often driving a Royal Mail van and staying active throughout your shift.

This role offers varied shifts with competitive pay, requiring a full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and the ability to walk long distances. You may be assessed on driving ability before start.

Qualifications

• Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
• Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels in your community as a Post Person with Driving.
• Drive round your delivery area and complete parts of your route on foot as needed.
• Provide exceptional service and ensure every item reaches its destination safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items (food/alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
