Job summary

Royal Mail in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Post Person with Driving to deliver letters and parcels across your local area. You will spend much of the day walking, with some driving, and you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community.

Shifts vary and you may be asked to work across different times. A full UK manual driving licence with up to 6 points is required, and a driving assessment will be completed at start. The role offers competitive pay and guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points required.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be adaptable at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels along your route, serving your community.
• Drive a Royal Mail delivery van and ensure items reach their destination safely.
• Handle and deliver election materials and certain restricted items per standards.
• Pass a driving assessment at start of employment.
