Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking flexible Delivery Drivers to join the Daventry Delivery Office. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels around your local area, combining van work with on-foot delivery.

You'll need a full UK driving licence (max 6 points), fitness to walk large distances, and the ability to adapt shifts. This temporary role offers guaranteed hours during the peak period, with potential to become permanent.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a mailbag up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; must be able to adapt at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver letters and parcels on your route as a Royal Mail driver.
• Drive a Royal Mail van and complete parts of your route on foot.
• Handle and deliver election materials and items (e.g., food/alcohol) per Royal Mail standards.
