Job summary

Best Lives Limited is seeking a Lead Support Worker to manage day-to-day running of one of our location houses within Supported Living. You will oversee staff, ensure documentation is up to date and provide essential support to teams.

You'll lead supervision cycles, develop person-centred plans within a month, organise staff rotas and help clients build relationships and independent lives in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervising care staff and managing rosters.
• Ability to develop person-centred plans and reviews.
• Strong organisational and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out supervisions and annual appraisals for each staff member and identify training needs on an annual basis.
• Ensure all clients have a person centred plan within one month of coming into the service and reviews occur regularly.
• Organise the rota for all support staff within the property.
• Help people to maintain and develop relationships of their choice.
• Enable people we support to lead full and purposeful lives in the community.

We're currently recruiting for a Lead Support Worker within Supported Living to manage the day to day running of one of our location houses, ensuring all general documentation is in place and updated and that necessary support is provided to staff teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To carry out supervisions and annual appraisals for each staff member and identify training needs on an annual basis. To ensure all sessions are documented and on file ready for inspection.
• To ensure all clients have a person centred plan within one month of coming into the service. To be responsible for ensuring all reviews take place on a regular basis.
• To organise the rota for all support staff within the property.
• Help people to maintain and develop relationships of their choice.
• To enable people we support lead full and purposeful lives in the community and to develop a range of friendships, activities and relationships
