Voyage Care is seeking a compassionate Female Support Worker to help people gain independence in daily life. The role involves personal care, community access, and engaging in activities to enhance quality of life in a supported living setting.

Role requires a full UK driving license and experience with Positive Behaviour Support and individuals needing enhanced support, including those with autism. Training and career progression are offered.

Female Support Worker - Pay Rate Starts at: £12.84ph - £14.84 ph (Ts & Cs apply) Sleep-In's £73.89

Location: Birdwood, Forest of Dean, GL2 8BJ

**Please note this is a rural location and own transport is required, you will also need to be able to drive our manual company vehicles**

Working 40 hours per week, shifts are a mixture of: 07:00-17:00 - 12:00-22:00 and Sleep-in's Monday to Sunday

As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

Our supported living service has a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions and autism.
