Job summary

Hovis Bakeries is seeking an Accounts Receivable Advisor to drive timely payments and support the finance team. The role involves high-volume AR processing, cash posting, and collaboration with internal teams and customers.

You will work in a hybrid setup (office 2 days, 3 days from home) for a fixed-term of 12 months. Key duties include chasing outstanding debts, ensuring accurate cash allocations, and assisting with period-end reporting while maintaining strong relationships across the Grocery

Responsibilities

• Follow AR best practices from credit applications to discounts.
• Identify issues early and escalate to keep operations smooth.
• Provide clear account status updates to finance and operations leads.
• Support period-end reporting with the team.
• Work across multiple ERPs and be versatile across the Grocery business.
• Attend meetings with Sales, Finance, CS and customers to discuss issues.

Key Accountabilities

• Providing clear account status updates to operational and finance leads.
• Support Team Leader / Manager with period end reporting.
• Work on multiple ERP’s and be multi skilled across the Grocery business.
• Attend meetings with Sales, Finance, CS and Customers to discuss and resolve any issues.
