- Monitoring and recording incoming payments
- Reconciling AR balances and chasing down discrepancies
- Managing client communications around outstanding invoices and payment terms
- Producing regular AR status and ageing reports
- Following up on overdue accounts with sensible collection strategies
- Keeping receivable records accurate and up to date
- Working closely with the wider finance team on smooth day to day operations
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Building strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Making sure everything complies with relevant financial regulations and standards

- Approximately 3 years’ UK experience in a similar role within a medium to large organisation
- Strong analytical skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to stay calm under pressure and hit deadlines
- A proactive, problem solving approach, happy to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working across multiple countries, either as an entity or a branch, is a plus
- Construction industry experience is a bonus, but certainly not essential
- As the role is fully office based in Buntingford, you’ll need to be able to drive to get there

- A genuinely collaborative team environment
- Free parking on site and a full benefits package
- Real opportunity to grow within a fast growing global firm
Requirements

- A Levels, a BTec or a finance related degree
- Confident with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Good with numbers and a real eye for detail
- A willingness to learn and take on feedback
- Clear, friendly communication skills
- Good time management and the ability to juggle deadlines
- Happy to be in the office 4 days a week, full time in the office for the fist 3 months.
