Job summary

Venture Recruitment Partners is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant in Guildford to take ownership of supplier invoices and month-end processes across multiple entities. The role offers hybrid working (3 days in the office after probation) and a 3-month contract with potential to turn permanent.

You will manage weekly and monthly payment runs in multiple currencies, reconcile supplier statements, and support audits with a high level of accuracy and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger roles.
• Strong Excel/MS Office skills with experience using accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Prepare and manage weekly and monthly payment runs across multiple currencies.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update the Accounts Payable ledger, including issuing remittances.
• Support month-end processes, audits, and ad hoc finance projects.
