Job summary

Mountain Warehouse is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant (FTC) in Coventry. The role supports the Property AP tasks from our Coventry service center, reporting to an AP Team Leader. It involves handling supplier accounts, processing invoices, and assisting with payment runs.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years' AP experience, strong numeracy, Excel skills, and a proactive, team-focused attitude to help the Finance department meet targets.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in accounts payable.
• Strong numeracy and IT skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage a group of supplier accounts.
• Process invoices and credit notes.
• Set up new suppliers and update bank details.
• Perform reconciliations and resolve issues.
• Assist with payment runs and ensure timely payments.
• Liaise with internal and external contacts on queries.
• Process journals into Netsuite.
• Support the AP team to hit targets.
