Job summary

Westcoast is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our busy finance team. You will play a key role in processing supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with payment cycles, and maintaining accuracy across the ledger.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to manage high volumes (200+ invoices daily). This is an excellent opportunity to develop within a Sunday Times Top Track 100 company.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work to deadlines and priorities.
• Excellent communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Checking invoices against the Purchase Order
• Responsible for a section of the Accounts Payable Ledger
• Ensuring the 200+ invoices received daily are accurately processed
• Making sure invoices are approved in time to meet the established payment cycles
• Forecasting payments
• Completing monthly statement reconciliations
• Liaising with suppliers with regards to queries etc.
• Issuing payments in weekly and monthly payment cycles
